In the case of inclement weather, the program director may cancel classes. Classes canceled due to inclement weather will not be rescheduled.

Payment Policy: All payments are due by 4/1 (or upon invoice if registered after 4/1). No swimmer or sailor will be allowed to participate in the program until payment has been received. You are not guaranteed a spot until payment has been made.

Refund Policy: There shall be no refunds given for missed or cancelled class. Full refunds will be allowed if provided 30 days before the start of class and 50% refund if given seven days before class starts. â€‹

420 Usage: In addition to the boat usage fee, parents are responsible for the repair costs for any damage caused to a BLYC boat used during classes. The 420 boat may not be used outside of class hours, during interclub races and/or leave BLYC property.

Opti Usage for Regatta: In addition to the boat usage fee, parents are responsible for the repair costs for any damage caused to a BLYC boat used during classes and/or racing usage.

​

Opti Regatta Fee: In the event that a sailor chooses to participate in a regatta that is outside of their Opti class level or he/she is not currently enrolled in one of BLYC’s sailing classes, a fee in the amount of $100, plus applicable credit card fees, shall be due and owing prior to the regatta to cover coaching fees. The sailor’s participation in the regatta is also subject to Director approval.

We reserve the right to cancel any classes that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements.
